Thanks to the wonderful services of the Spay Me Clinic, which is run by Shelter from the Storm rescue out of Madison, 37 OARS pets were spayed and neutered this week! This included 34 kitties and 3 dogs. These babies won't be making more babies!

Dog and two teeny tiny baby kittens rescued today!
Thanks to everyone who supported me today in my dog rescue of Sunday the cattledog and the two itty bitty one-week-old babies! Sunday is doing great in her foster home and Bennett and Smith, the babies, are doing well with their new surrogate mama, thanks to a very caring OARS foster volunteer!

Pup Rescue!
Thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped transport, do intake exams and treatments, and are fostering these wonderful pups, who we rescued yesterday from an overcrowded shelter. They are all so loving...they now have a new chance at life and finding loving new forever families...a beautiful thing.
Buck, a super-loving little flirt who loves everyone he meets! I love that he has his paw by the Orphan Animal Rescue logo...he says, this is who rescued me!
Baby Abby...sweet tiny girl :)
Trixie gives Linda a thankful hug...she was a great co-pilot on the drive to OARS...
Sweet, shy little Penny...so happy to no longer have to live outside all the time...
Penny gives Amy a thank you kiss!
Oh little Hudson...talk about puppy dog eyes...
Loving, beautiful girl Hazel...so happy to finally be on her way to a new life after being at a shelter for more than a year...and now on her road to recovery...
Sweet Caramel, Penny and Buck's sister...so happy to be with a wonderful OARS foster home now!

What a Week in OARS World!
Wow - just wow. In one short week, we saved homeless kitties from two overcrowded shelters, kittens from the perils of being outside alone, solidified a new hosting partner, helped our homeless dogs find their new forever homes and so much more. It's amazing what can happen when we all work together for a greater cause.
