Purple Paw Parade Recap - Awesome Day!

Thank you again to all the amazing support you all showed OARS and the homeless animals in our care - we raised nearly $8,000 at this phenomenal event! Way beyond our expectations! ALL this money will go directly to provide veterinary care and supplies for the homeless pets. Thank you again to everyone who volunteered and supported us on this beautiful day in May!

The walk begins...

Our wonderful supporters and their four-legged friends walked 2 miles for the homeless pets of OARS!

We were touched by the number of people who came and showed their support

The doggie's shirt says "Who Rescued Who?" So cool!

We even had one participant show up with pledges and he walked the entire way - with a walker! So awesome!

Another rescue dog who attended the event :)

The paw print/painting booth was a favorite!

We had great booth sponsors and fun games for the kids

All in all, a beautiful day for a wonderful cause :)

What a Week in OARS World!

Wow - just wow. In one short week, we saved homeless kitties from two overcrowded shelters, kittens from the perils of being outside alone, solidified a new hosting partner, helped our homeless dogs find their new forever homes and so much more. It's amazing what can happen when we all work together for a greater cause.
