Visiting PAWS Chicago

Yesterday Nicole, Natalie, Amy and I went down to Chicago to tour PAWS Chicago and meet with some of their volunteers to gain insights and advice from them based on their experiences. This model rescue is no-kill and mostly volunteer-run, and helped decrease Chicago's homeless pets euthanasia rates by 50% over the last 12 years. It all started with a small group of people who saw that there had to be a better way. It was truly inspiring.

Spot says, please take me home with you!

They had a rooftop dog park where the doggies can run and play, it was so cool!
